Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Chief Engineer is responsible for leading the Operations, Maintenance, Transmitter and Information Technology team, which supports ABC10 s broadcast technologies in a 24/7/365 environment. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the broadcast engineering and studio activities day-to-day, including during live broadcasts. Other responsibilities include managing the implementation and documentation of capital and special projects, managing and maintaining the compliance to FCC requirements, advising and assisting in the creation of operational and capital budgets, assisting in the technical support of critical hardware and software, monitoring and scrutinizing daily on-air technical quality and supporting improved workflows for both on-air and online products.
