Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Solution Architects are consultants within our homeland security practice. They work on large, mission-critical projects and collaborate with clients to analyze goals and design compelling business solutions supported by advanced technology. They enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and leading others in a solution. This initial consulting project is in the Washington DC area. Required Qualifications: 10 years of relevant experience in large information technology (IT) modernization projects for the Federal Government Extensive experience in solutions architecture (preferably including both business and technical architecture)Ability to assess business objectives, conduct gap analyses of capabilities, and identify business requirements working in close partnership with clients and stakeholders Use business and consulting skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to team and our clientsInspire innovation within the team and lead a team to produce high quality work products Explores new technology and leads proof of concepts to validate ultimate solution Interest in emergency management or flood risk and a passion for excellent client satisfaction Master's DegreeUS Citizenship Only (no dual citizenship)Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in project management, enterprise architecture, and/or technology-oriented disciplines Current public trust with the Department of Homeland Security or agency Equal Opportunity Employer/M/F/D/V.
