Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key responsibilities include: Engage in Firmwide Data Management working groups, to ensure that new data standards are adhered to and complied with. Lead initiatives with technology teams to review logical data models for critical business initiatives and align them to critical data elements. Work with stakeholders to prioritize data opportunities and partner with technology to implement solutions Drive adoption of data controls in the T/CIO platforms Communicate reference data requirements to central teams Drive a data-centric culture, emphasizing data management is everyone s responsibility Prepare executive presentations and lead meetings People management and development Experience Required 15 years experience in a major financial services organization 10 years experience in risk management, risk measurement, or risk reporting 5 years in a senior management role, with firmwide or cross LOB responsibility 5 years experience driving process improvements Degree in risk, finance, or related field Skills Required Leadership Ability to articulate a vision and build consensus Ability to listen to stakeholders and recommend solutions aligned to their priorities Ability to synthesize complex topics into simple messages Ability to prioritize and manage expectations Strong relationship and influencing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Execution Results orientation: ability to drive an initiative to completion and hold others accountable Process orientation: ability to analyze a problem holistically and evaluate solutions considering all upstream and downstream impacts Ability to break down complex problems into components, identify root causes, and establish resolution plans Project management skills Passionate about driving change and improving processes People Management and Development Ability to develop people; skills in coaching, mentoring, and teaching on the job Ability to identify and recruit talent Skilled at performance management, recognizing and rewarding performance and identifying development needs.
