Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Description: Senior IT Manager position responsible for managing a global dev-ops model team focused on building out our digital capabilities and platforms Responsible for delivery of IT solutions with focus on time to market, quality of service, effective IT investment and expense management Position has responsibility for a growing team of globally distributed technology professionals Overall responsibilities include: Provide engineering leadership to international digital capabilities, processes and competencies by leveraging both information and digital technologies Manage a complex and varied stream of project deliverables in terms of quality, timeframe and cost. Client management is an integral part of the role, and as such the successful candidate will be responsible for project governance, including managing user groups and communicating status to senior technology and business sponsors. Excellent verbal and written communication will be essential for effectiveness in this role Build, train and develop, depth and skill of technology staff to improve overall delivery stream and quality of our application portfolio Requirements: The role requires a proven leader with superior technology skills in the digital technology space. Domain skills in IT organization, business management and talent management are a must. The candidate must also possess relationship building skills given the extensive interfacing required with IT senior management and cross-function leaders. The role has a high level of responsibility for delivery of technology for the systems globally. The candidate will work closely with the global CTO to deliver high quality technology services and projects on time, on scope, and on budget. The role will also work closely with the CTO management team across other business lines and shared services groups. Required Capabilities: Management and Leadership Skills Ability to build relationships across the enterprise with Lines of Businesses, Technology, and Business where relevant Experience in managing and ramping up large teams commitment to attract, develop and retain talent Experience in working in large global complex matrix organizations Must have excellent interpersonal, relationship and negotiating skills Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology's alignment making recommendation for adapting the team to different skills (technology, behavioral, soft skills) as required Ability to effectively manage a complex and demanding book of work supporting the Client Document Solutions organization Experience in managing vendor applications Excellent partnership and people management practices Control the fixed costs and achieve year on year savings (hardware, space, resources costs etc.) as well as develop practices with Technology managers to optimize resources usage and deliver on going re-engineering opportunities and develop/produce productivity metrics accordingly. Understanding of the Risk & Regulatory environment and being able to make decisions accordingly Technical/Domain Skills: Knowledge or experience in systems pertaining to the following investment processes: Global wealth management, especially within the Americas and/or EMEA regions Experience of implementation/integration of vendor platforms in marketing systems a big plus Expert understanding of distributed technologies, with capability to intervene on a hands-on basis as required Must have experience in project/program management Advanced IT, process improvement and problem solving skills. Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred The ideal candidate will have: 15 to 20 years of relevant IT experience with at least 5 years in management or senior level roles Computer science engineering degree from a premier institute A hands-on approach to management with the ability to deep dive into technology/design as well as be able to give strategic direction to the team.
