Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Credit Union Marketing Assistant performs lead generation by obtaining contact information from online and other sources to build customized contact databases. This position will use technical and email marketing software knowledge to execute on lead generati on/prospect marketing. This role will participate in department workflow, including coordinating, printing and shipping Credit Union Branch print requests and keeping inventory of materials associated with these requests. 95% desk job in Los Angeles, CA; 5% possible travel to other Farmers locations nationally.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop responsive email templates in support of marketing campaigns supporting our products and services and report on performance. Performance reporting would include updating spreadsheets with open and click through rates and sales closed. Reviews, coordinates, prints and ships Credit Union Branch print/collateral requests which support sales and events in the branches. Requests come in on an as needed basis, but average about 10 per week. Proofreads print and electronic marketing materials and related member and employee communications, such as product emails to members, internal staff communication about a new product or the quarterly newsletter. Responsible for weekly data entry for lead generation and prospecting as instructed by various members in the department, which will be used to market to the leads in order to convert them into members. Participates in new product development for marketing the product and other task forces as assigned Participates in planning, coordinating, promoting and hosting of special events as needed.Education RequirementsHigh School diploma required; Some college focused in marketing preferredExperience RequirementsOne year marketing or advertising experience required.Demonstrated knowledge or willingness to learn the creative process, concepts and standards required. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with employees and management staff required. Ability to troubleshoot problems, develop solutions, and document procedures. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Special Skill RequirementOne year working with email, graphic design and content delivery preferred. Ability to use digital advertising technology tools such as web, mobile, email as well as experience creating/using content management software preferred Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
