Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Work closely with business units across Capital One to drive the prioritization, and adoption of API products. Provide consulting for internal stakeholders and business lines to translate business strategies into API products for our partners and the developer community. Partner with Delivery, Operations, and Enterprise (e.g. Legal, Compliance) teams, as well as third party vendors to ship features that delight our developers, partners, and Capital One customers. Define the end-to-end experience, write user stories, drive requirements, and manage roadmaps and backlogs for delivery of APIs to Capital One s DevExchange (developer.capitalone.com) Evangelize both internally and externally the business value of APIs, use cases, and capabilities to your peers, stakeholders, executives, developers, customers, and partners. Here s what you ll need to be successful: Be a collaborative team player with the ability to navigate and influence the organization. Manage the definition and execution of projects Experience working in an agile environment and on multiple projects simultaneously Understand customer expectations and identify industry best practices Strong analytical, interpersonal, collaboration, communication (written, verbal, and technical), presentation, negotiation, influence and problem-solving skills Have fluency in human-centered product discovery methods such as design thinking and service design Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree or military experience At least 3 years of experience in digital product management Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering MBA or Master s degree At least 3 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products AT least 2 years of experience in Agile product management PMP or similar certification At this time.
