Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Work with the traders and business team for gathering requirements for Credit E-Trading applications. Analyze the business requirements and functional documents to create detailed, effective and efficient test strategy, plans and scripts for new and existing applications. Work with development teams to define documents and agree test approach, strategy and detailed test cases. Execute project testing activities and tasks, including building test packs and hands-on manual functional and regression testing, working with teams across multiple locations. Design the framework for GUI and back end applications. Create and enhance the back end automation suite for the trading workflow using the in-house development environment, ATHENA and EXB. Work with development teams to control testing stages and environment stability whilst investigating and managing defects within JIRA. Assist Application Developers and Production Management staff in identifying and resolving issues and coordinating the final release into Production in a safe and controlled manner. Work with vendors for testing the functional, regulatory changes for compliance testing. Work with DevOps to create a production parallel environment for PIPE RINSE. Work with Quantitative Research team for creating test packs for ALGO trading functionalities. Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in software test development and QA automation (design, build through to implementation), or related experience. Skills required: Must have experience in Python based proprietary development platform to collaborate across multiple lines of business and build next generation for trade analytics. Must have experience in Software testing methodologies and process for UI and non UI applications to improve the QA process and implement automation strategy during SDLC. Must have experience in agile methodologies and experience using strategic tools, e.g., JIRA. Must have experience automating front end and backend applications using strategic tools QTP or Test Complete. Must have experience working with databases and Unix. Must have demonstrated business knowledge in investment banking and fixed income products such as Credit and Credit derivatives (Bonds and CDS index). Must have demonstrated knowledge of Investment banking business and fixed income products; and remote management of global teams.
