Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Summary: The Email Marketing and Development Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of digital marketing materials and activities such as emails, onsite/offsite advertising, and mobile, following all brand standards and digital marketing guidelines. The Email Marketing and Development Specialist will leverage development and design tools to create responsive, usable and compelling emails, landing pages and interactive customer experiences with best practices in mind. The Email Marketing and Development Specialist is the strategic and tactical owner for one or more digital marketing channels which may include email, dynamic merchandising, predictive analytics, CRM, SEM, 3rd party display, social, and other digital marketing channels as they are enabled. This role will be responsible for the optimization of certain digital marketing channels and the day-to-day management of campaigns through those channels. Key Responsibilities: Develops marketing emails; including page layout and strategic input to support multiple business units Produce HTML emails from design comps, ensuring exceptionally high quality Ensure responsive rendering consistency of email campaigns across multiple email clients Experience debugging email client compatibility issues Update site content via CMS systems like Adobe CQ5 and AEM Work effectively and efficiently with the digital designers, copywriters, project managers, and content specialists Focus on quality and continuous improvement to application and processes Participate in digital production deployment and provide assistance to when needed Maintain extremely high development and production standards, as well as the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Work with marketing partners to launch and automate all email marketing campaigns through Eloqua Identify, run and report email A/B testing Input HTML emails into Eloqua, partnering with Marketing Services to ensure emails meet all marketing and design expectations Leverage knowledge of best practices to help develop optimized email campaigns Build forms in Eloqua for redemption and lead generation Works with marketing team on web merchandising initiatives and processes for fishersci.com Report on merchandising performance and highlight insights to drive decision-making and initiative prioritization Stay up-to-date on web merchandising best practices and leverage external resources to improve the performance of the fishersci.com website Work with the RSD EU team to create global efficiencies Create and distribute internal web enhancement communications Work with Lattice Engines and Sales Force to create seamless communication between the programs ensuring Sales Reps have the information they need to contact leads Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 2-4 years Front-End Development experience in a corporation setting, retail company, and/or digital agency Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar degree and equivalent work experience Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Client-side JavaScript, and other front-end UI web technologies Experience with Git in a team environment Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Knowledge and experience with JavaScript/CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, LESS and Sass. Must have expert experience in web and UI Development. Should be able to demonstrate common principles of web usability and functionality Experience with modern email client technologies Self-awareness and a desire to improve your skills and constantly learn and teach those around you Able to work effectively and professionally as part of a busy central team while interacting with, and influencing, virtual teams, internal cross-functional/divisional teams and outside entities Ability to solve complex or routine problems effectively and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround Ability to make good, timely decisions in a fast-paced, time-constrained environment Demonstrate excellent prioritization and organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to exercise judgment, problem solve and drive projects forward Knows and champions email best practices This position has not been approved for Relocation Assistance.
