Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Technology and Intellectual Property Group is seeking an attorney to work in the firm's Baltimore office. Candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working on data privacy, data security and technology licensing matters. Primary responsibilities will include counseling clients with respect to privacy and data security compliance, drafting privacy and data security policies, responding to security breach incidents, drafting and negotiating software and other technology-based licenses, and engaging in related transactional due diligence. Ideal candidates would have a deep understanding of a broad range of privacy and security laws and standards, and have (or be seeking) CIPP certification. Candidates should also have excellent academic credentials and superior writing, drafting and communication skills. Recent law school grads with excellent credentials and demonstrated interest in this area of law are encouraged to apply.
