Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position will be responsible to Build, Maintain, and Document the VOIP system (Specifically the Avaya Red System, Aura 7). Details of this position shall be as follows. Experience Must have extensive knowledge and experience Managing Systems Extensive knowledge of the Communication Manager Extensive knowledge of the Call Manager Extensive knowledge of the Conferencing tools Extensive knowledge of the Voicemail Systems Build Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware, software, tools, services, upgrades, and patches Install, test, and validate hardware, software, tools, and services meet system specifications and requirements Develop and maintain High-level and Low-level design of VOIP System Architecture Maintenance Monitor alarms of all systems Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance checks on all systems Verify all interconnections and wiring are in good working condition and validate no non-approved changes and/or alterations have been made Verify all systems are operating per system specifications and requirements Problem Management Perform Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting when problems are identified through alarms, Service tickets, customer alerts, and/or general inspection. Submit Service Request with vendor when Tier 3 support or high is required Submit problem reports when problems are resolved Complete Customer s required report for outages Provide Project Manager details to complete Customers RCA Upgrade and Patching Review, Install, and Test available upgrades and patches for all systems Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for Upgrades / Patching Instructions for all Systems Documentation Problem Management Develop and maintain Tier 1 SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for each system Update documentation and log files Problem Management Log Upgrade and Patch Log General Maintenance Log IP Address Log New products, tools, HW,SW, Upgrades, and or Patches Provide Project Manager documentation in support of meeting Customer and Change Management requirements for approval Send Weekly status reports Additional items Obtain a government clearance Provide backup support to other team members for planned and unplanned leave Attend all customer required meetings Complete all Customer required deliverables Education: Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred. Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years experience. Supervisory: No.
