Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The role includes all deal functions including origination/execution, financial/analytical modeling, and sales/distribution. The candidate develops, interprets and implements complex financial modeling including tax and accounting concepts for non-recourse project financings with a focus on solar and wind electric generating facilities. The candidate assists in developing financial models, credit analysis, project due diligence, document negotiation and group presentations. The candidate also develops direct relationships internally with other Capital One groups and product teams, as well as externally with clients in originating and executing transactions as well as managing the investment portfolio. Responsibilities: Facilitates cross functional working groups to ensure efficient workflow and scheduling related to originating, negotiating and executing transactions for the investment portfolio. Works with internal partners to manage the approval process for new investments and manage existing investments. Works closely with the Operations Manager (housed in Commercial Operations) to insure compliance with Substantially All testing, annual cash flow distribution limitation compliance, Transaction Level Reporting (TLR) and Investment Level Reporting (ILR) and other management support to insure all IRS requirements. Partners with Relationship Managers and serves as liaison between business units to help facilitate the flow of information and control of functions affecting the department and/or investment. Participates in regular product knowledge presentations and seminars, both internally and externally. Basic Qualifications: Either a Bachelors Degree or Military Experience Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, economics or engineering. 1-3 years of banking experience, including exposure to credit analysis activities and other applicable banking services/products offered. Successful completion of a credit training program, either.
