Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The individual will be a direct report to the Chief of Staff for Markets & Securities Services Operations & Technology and have a matrix reporting into the global head of Fixed Income and Currencies Technology while working closely with the development managers in their planning, definition and execution of organizational strategy. Job Description: Execution of Business and Technology Strategy through governance, communication and engagement with business and technology stakeholders. Driving professional productivity and efficiency across the FIC organization. Drive best practices, tools and architectural commitments. Budget process - Be the responsible person for the department's budget including the business hardware budget that is part of Fixed Income and Currencies IT TCO. Financial control - Understand the complexities of the department P&L; allocable base, client allocations, the impact of capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Program Management - Coordinate the CIO Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process. Staff / Resource Management - Imbed processes in the organization that ensure ongoing headcount is always accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, that the on boarding and termination of resources is well controlled. Be the lead for the department on its resource strategy. Communication - Take the lead on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department. People Strategy - Work with the Fixed Income and Currencies Technology management team on sponsoring & supporting actively ICG O&T People Strategy. Leadership - Provide leadership and strategic direction to the various functional teams for all the above to improve and automate all existing processes. Job Skills/Qualifications: Director Level Role requiring 15 years in a fast paced Tier-1 financial services firm with experience in global and complex settings with multiple stake holders. Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures Strong written and verbal communication skills - will have interaction with senior technology and business managers Demonstrated success in managing large, complex budgets / financials Strong development, planning and execution of medium range and long term strategic plans. Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business front office and global functions colleagues Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations Demonstrated project management experience and detailed knowledge of technology products Knowledge of Citi, the financial services industry and products as well as Technology finance rules Excellent influencing and negotiating skills Educational Level: Bachelors Degree required, Masters is preferred.
