Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Provide classified naval systems development, systems engineering, and modeling and simulation expertise to our government customer. Perform quick-turn analysis on naval systems to determine future capabilities to help influence future budgetary decisions. Collaborate with DoD partners on development efforts to determine where technologies can be aligned or leveraged for greater capability. Determine funding strategies for technology feasibility studies and large scale development efforts and coordinate with proper stakeholders to align funding. Develop concise briefings for senior leadership to show analytical results and impact on future naval warfighting capabilities. Must have strong skills in MS PowerPoint, graphics, and animation. Create documentation in support of classified programs to be routed for senior leadership approval. Identify risks and coordinate mitigation plans and approaches. Support and coordinate milestone and executive reviews. Coordinate meetings, teleconferences, and travel. Provide inputs to the program manager in response to all calls for information regarding program activity, including weekly activity reports, information requests, and Congressional inquiries. Ensure program security compliance including classified, proprietary, ITAR restricted, and source selection sensitive material. Requirements: The candidate must have, at minimum, a BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. A focus in Maritime, Systems, Computer, or Electronics Engineering preferred. 3-5 years of previous industry, government, and/or substantial graduate research experience with 1-2 directly relating to operational naval systems. Experience with the development of large military systems, processes / systems development, in exchange for direct naval systems development will be considered. Other Skills Required: This position requires a passion for technology, demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a team player with strong work ethic. High proficiency in MS Power Point graphics required. Familiar with special access program procedures and comfortable working in a classified security environment. Clearance: TS with TS/SCI preferred Qualifications Requires Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, and Psychology or other related disciplines and ten to twelve years of experience or Master s degree and eight to ten years of related experience or PhD and five to seven years of related experience.
