Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Intellectual Property Department has an opening in our Boston office for a junior associate who is a registered patent attorney with a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology or immunology. We seek applicants with strong academic credentials, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and up to four years of patent prosecution experience after graduation from law school. Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of molecular biology, immunology, immunooncology, genetics, and agricultural biotechnology would be particularly useful.We staff our clients patent matters leanly, affording associates an opportunity for significant responsibility and excellent career development. Associates typically work one-on-one with partners, gain a depth of experience in a broad range of patent strategy, drafting, prosecution and diligence matters, and get immediate client contact.
