Job Responsibilities and Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support docketing of domestic and foreign (e.g., PCT and national phase) patent deadlines Handle filing of new patent applications and office action responses Draft shell documents for patent filings (e.g., office action responses, information disclosure statements, appeal briefs, etc.) Manage information disclosure statement preparation and tracking Coordinate with inventors to secure signatures on assignments and declarations Cooperate with foreign counterparts to orchestrate foreign patent filings Perform pre-issuance review of allowed patent applications Perform proofing of patent applications prior to filing Handle filing and preparation of powers of attorney for new and transferred patent filings Manage trademark docketing REQUIREMENTSFormal patent legal support experience Experience with foreign patent filings and docketingIntense attention to detail.Independent and self-driven with excellent time-management skills.Meticulous organizational skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. High proficiency in MS Office and USPTO's Electronic Filing System.Prior law firm experience a plus.
