Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Serve as the key point of contact in the West Region for Debt Capital Markets advisory Help develop the external and internal origination network by communicating the DCM strategy and value proposition, attending meetings with corporate and PE clients on opportunities Assist in identifying, originating, engaging and executing transactions and evaluating associated risks Advise companies regarding strategic and capital markets alternatives Coordinate and manage junior resources in the preparation of complex financial analyses, including: projection models, comparables analyses, and precedent research Help conduct due diligence investigations of client companies Review and aid in the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies and industries Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm Gather and assimilate market data into usable reports Facilitate processes associated with business activities Delegate and manage the work of an analyst and/or associate Provide input on deal-related structuring and strategic decisions Contribute to recruiting and team development Participate in outreach and cross-training with various business units, partners and colleagues of our parent firm. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and at least 7 years of related work experience. Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing) preferred Experience working with clients in multiple industries Experience working in capital markets or investment banking Proven track record of success with relevant deal experience and strong, established network of relationships with both corporates and financial sponsors Extensive knowledge of debt capital markets and capital structure Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior banking team representative Strong experience with both identifying transactions and leading execution Superior understanding of and ability to critique and evaluate financial analysis and modeling Willingness and ability to travel as necessarymary:advice surrounding corporate finance and strategic capital raise alternatives A bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and at least 7 years of related work experience.
