Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In addition, you will provide from-the-field feedback to the Training Content Development team on what changes need to be made to the training to ensure ongoing impact. You'll be expected to deliver consistently superb training experiences to all our trainees and learning-program participants. In the classes that you teach, you will validate the correctness of the materials, set appropriate expectations before and during the class, and ensure learner satisfaction with the scope and depth of what is covered. Further to this, a core part of your role will be to evaluate, audit and potentially coach other trainers, in particular external trainers that work at our training partners. Finally, you will work towards continually improving the scale, depth, and quality of Google Cloud Platform Training experience. Responsibilities Deliver superb technical training from the Google Cloud Platform curriculum, in particular the Infrastructure curriculum, to diverse audiences (e.g. partners, customers, Googlers, etc) and to individuals from across a wide range of roles (e.g. Solution Architects, Developers, Sales Engineers etc). Participate in training planning conversations with strategic customers/partners, and work on tailoring content for those audiences as required. Evaluate, train, audit and coach trainers from our partner training companies. Provide direct field feedback to the Curriculum Development team and work on updating content as/when required. Ensure your training schedules are published and any content updates are recorded as required. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with Linux/Unix (e.g. basic command line file, system navigation, etc). Experience with processes, load, system constraints, and with related programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, .NET, Node.js.). Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required. Preferred qualifications: Experience in providing training to a diverse set of customers, from startups to multinational companies, and to diverse audiences, from C-level executives to students. Experience in creating, maintaining and/or delivering content in a fast-moving technology area, while also comfortable working in a fast growing, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. Experience in a client-facing technical consulting and/or educational role. Basic comprehension of database performance and factors influencing efficiency of searches. Understanding of containers and platforms (e.g. OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Google App Engine, etc) as well as Storage Technologies (e.g. HDD, SSD, NAS, SAN, CIFS, FCoE, HA/Clustering, Gluster, Luster, IOPS calculations, object storage, block-level storage, volume-sizing, encryption, etc). Demonstrated familiarity with databases and basic design of schemas/tables. Ability to query databases using simple SQL queries with minimum reference/oversight.
