Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Participate in the development of a market strategy and the establishment of a market objective for each product in order to maximize profitability and meet customer needs. Provide support as project manager on key initiatives requiring inter-departmental coordination/project plan Lead efforts around monthly, quarterly and annual department meetings and performance updates. Provide sales support, including ownership of ACH/Off-Us list updates and BBRM and Commercial client penetration analysis Ownership of Merchant Sales Playbook, including bi-annual updates, data integrity, and delivery to Merchant (and BB) sales team Work with both third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to complete product initiatives and resolve outstanding issues Review new developments on company markets, participating in the evaluation of potential products. May recommend the development of new products or the modification of existing products. Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and the bank s products. Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects brand. Complete other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor s degree plus 3 years banking related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined 7 years higher education and/or work experience, with a minimum of 3 years banking related experience. Proficient PC skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner. Ideal Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing or Finance. Thorough knowledge of the software programs utilized by the department. Merchant Services knowledge and experience with the merchant acquiring business model. Organizational, customer service and/or sales skills are required. Project Management/PMO experience helpful.
