Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Staff Software Engineer, Graphics, you will be responsible for providing solutions to enable our game teams to deliver the highest quality visual experience to our players. This position requires working closely with the Art, Design and Engineering teams to understand and develop an efficient graphics pipeline. It also involves writing shaders to allow for outstanding visuals as well as graphical performance optimization on mobile constrained devices. You will also work closely with the rest of the Engineering team to ensure that your solutions meet our standards of quality and performance. In addition, you will research and develop new rendering techniques to be used across our games. Research and develop new rendering techniques. Develop a high-efficiency graphics pipeline for building content. Write and optimize shaders. Rendering performance optimization. Documentation. Assess middleware and 3rd party solutions. Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience and success. At least 7-8 years experience as a Graphics Engineer. Shipped at least 2 mobile titles as a Graphics Engineer. Working knowledge of iOS, Android, Unity. Excellent C# / C / C programming skills. Deep knowledge of 3D math. Deep knowledge of OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.0, Metal, Vulcan. Deep knowledge of GLSL, HLSL and ShaderLab. Knowledge of Unity s rendering pipeline, including SRP. Knowledge of different lighting models. Knowledge of physically based rendering. Knowledge of image based lighting. Knowledge of mobile tile based renderers. Knowledge of compute shaders. Knowledge of GPU instancing. Experience with animation systems. Experience profiling & optimizing the draw pipeline. Experience creating tools and pipelines for efficient content creation. Documentation / Presentation skills. Strong problem solving / debugging skills. Ability to work with little supervision. Passion for making games.
