Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Draft, negotiate, review and advise on a high volume of many varied agreements and contracts with emphasis on video games, location-based entertainment projects (e.g., theme parks and attractions), merchandising, promotions, anti-piracy and more. Regularly advise and provide legal advice to senior business executives and various divisions on all aspects of licensing and merchandising including strategy, rights, partnerships, and marketing. At least 8 years of experience at a law firm or comparable in-house environment at a studio, agency or consumer products company. California State Bar membership is required. Previous video games, location based entertainment, theme parks and VR experience preferred. Excellent communication, creative problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced in-house environment are essential.Must be self-motivated, and take initiative and ownership of their work.Prior legal experience and interest in video games is highly preferred.
