Battery Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Participate in the development of battery for the next generation consumer hardware. Develop and evaluate new circuits for use in battery pack design. Develop and drive the test plan for battery pack design for engineering validation and production testing. Debug issues with the battery chemistry and BMU circuits. Review pack designs for battery safety and other performance. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of industry experience. Experience with Li-ion battery operation, performance, and safety. Experience with battery BMU design and using battery tester. Preferred qualifications: MS/PhD in EE or related field with 5 years of experience. Statistical analysis and processing of large quantity of data Strong scripting and debugging skills Expertise in analog circuit design.
