Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The ideal candidate will be an expert in the corporate safety and security field, with a proven ability to build and implement best practice safety and security programs within large and complex enterprises. This role will be based in Whitehouse, N.J. or Philadelphia, PA with frequent travel required between those and other sites. Position Highlights: Thought leader and innovator in global corporate life safety. security and business continuity management Expert in tactical execution plan development and implementation to optimize enterprise safety and business continuity Experience in effective change management and stakeholder engagement People, process and project leader for all global security, safety and business continuity concerns Leader tasked with instilling the operating routines, processes and rigor to ensure consistency and compliance balanced with flexibility to account for local nuances Key Responsibilities: Envision, develop, implement, and continuously optimize a global enterprise safety and security strategy and program to protect Chubb, including threat assessment, risk mitigation and effective response. Organizational management including people leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, project management, professional development and process improvements: This includes: Developing and managing the annual global safety and security budget. Partnering with Chubb s enterprise risk management program to ensure safety and security investments are prioritized and aligned based on risk likelihood. Effectively managing people in the safety, security and business continuity arenas, characterized by the ability to recruit, inspire, manage, and lead a team of dedicated safety and security professionals. Provide global guidance and set standards around future security processes, technologies and design and the timely implementation of same, as a key advisor to regional and business leaders on all enterprise safety and security matters. Leading cross-functional working groups to address security operations, strategies, risks, and safety support as needed. Lead and manage global business continuity program, including overseeing the lifecycle management of continuity plans. Lead and manage the relevant areas of Global life safety, security and business continuity across to ensure the consistent, quality and timely delivery of deliverables to all stakeholders this includes: Global Safety and Security Operations Center (GSSOC), which serves as the central 24-hour command post for managing immediate response to all life safety and business interruption events. disaster recovery program, in close collaboration and partnership with the Global Technology and Operations. global crisis management program, including the establishment and governance of corporate and regional crisis management teams. Build relationships with business partners and executives throughout Chubb and with relevant third parties, to cultivate security program support and business continuity approach and deliver additional value through comprehensive proactive management of emerging security risks and corresponding risk mitigation. Manage the delivery of multiple technical security projects (average 30-50 annually) globally, planning and managing an annual roster of company-wide safety and security tests and exercises. Establish the corresponding training programs to educate and influence leadership worldwide to integrate safety and security principles into routine business practices. Set and maintain the security standards globally and ensure seamless internal testing and control to ensure baseline standards are adhered to and maintained Support senior management by identifying risks and ensuring the smooth continuance of business functions and integrations with all Technical Security platforms across the enterprise Provide continual improvement around technical solutions in line with the market, to automate processes and dynamically enhance productivity Prepare executive level reports to track and meet project targets and budgets, escalate issues and roadblocks, and recommend solutions to resolve challenges Work closely with Global Technology, Operations and business units to provide well designed and effective business continuity and recovery strategies and plans of action Act as a Thought Leader to drive problem solving and identify business solutions Qualifications and Requirements Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience and will have the following skills and abilities: Prior people management experience including building a team, performance management and talent development; Robust experience in a global corporate environment; Proven history of operating effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment with competing and shifting priorities; Track record of engaging executive level stakeholders on complex matters in a substantive manner with little to no oversight and limited guidance; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate risk and technical issues; advocate forcefully for necessary change in policies and procedures; Diligence to ensure rigorous attention to detail in all work activities and products; Expertise and demonstrated leadership in enterprise safety and security issues, including knowledge of best practices and industry standards; Professional certifications (DRII or BCI) in business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management preferred but not required. Prior experience in risk management preferred but not required.
