Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Overall relationship management role: acquire, orchestrate, expand, and deepen client relationships; build partnerships with key executives and influencers based on trust, expertise, and respect; expand SVB brand in the ecosystem; cross-sell the entire SVB platform; anticipate client needs and recognize opportunities for other value-adds; lead strategic financing discussions with clients; collaborate with Credit Solutions to ensure seamless underwriting and portfolio management; orchestrate cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience Skills and Requirements: The primary responsibility for this role is to act as the point of access for our clients/prospects for everything SVB and beyond. At SVB, we have a broad suite of financial products to bring to bear to our clients including core commercial banking products (i.e. treasury management, FX, investments, etc.), capital solutions (i.e. venture debt, mezzanine loans, direct equity, etc) and broader SVB financial services (i.e. private bank, wealth advisory, SVB Analytics, etc.). However, beyond our leading financial services platform, SVB team members act as trusted advisors to our clients by providing thoughtful industry perspective, making valuable connections to industry peers and investors, helping recruit key talent, and providing valuable customer introductions. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious and has an understanding of the innovation ecosystem a combination of deep industry knowledge, network, and real passion for helping companies grow. 5 years of related experience. Strong negotiation and marketing skills. Good closing skills. Advanced knowledge of commercial bank operations and products. Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience.
