Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The individual will be responsible for porting the existing Quant Risk related services to the strategic Java application platform. This is a mission critical role to expand our coverage from the Cash Trading desks to our most important Prime Brokerage clients. The developer will join a team of talented technologists who aim to deliver a quality user experience, with meticulous attention to coding standards, design details, and quality assurance testing. Key Accountabilities Take full ownership of the Risk service by working closely with the quant team and the business analysis in order to design and implement accordingly to the business requirements Provide full transparency of the project and manage the timeline by decomposing the project into manageable and measurable tasks Person SpecificationBasic Qualifications: 4-year Bachelor s/Master s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering degree Follow Agile methodology and participate in major IT projects with Messaging centric applications 8 years of Core Java experience with Spring Framework, Messaging, XML, Caching, Multi-Threading 3 years of database experience, efficiently implementing queries and fine tune the performance of the system if necessary Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of PCA Risk Analysis, Equity Trading and Portfolio Management Detail oriented and proven ability to understand business requirements and transform into fully functional technical solution Risk and Control Objective All colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards Benefits.
