Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Formula for Success: You Will - Grow our market and product portfolio through promoting innovations, creating solutions for customers and effectively executing field activities - Develop a professional and personal skill set that will impact business strategy and growth - Manage Sales Territory to achieve yearly sales goals within assigned budgets - Build and cultivate strong business relationships with key end users and maintain a working profile of opportunities with each end user - Support and utilize distribution network to increase sales throughout territory - Present and administer marketing programs to end users - Provide biology and product training to key end users and distribution network - Report top opportunities through a strategic monthly review - Participate in special sales and marketing projects This position is part of a job family. QUALIFICATIONS - RECOGNIZES INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION WHICH ARE ACCREDITED BY THE COUNCIL FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ACCREDITATION OR EQUIVALENT Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You - Bachelor's Degree - 3+ years of agronomic industry experience - OR - Successful completion of a BASF Agricultural Rotational Program (ex: Turf & Ornamentals and/or Pest Control and/or Agricultural Products and/or Lawn Care & Maintenance and/or Related Disciplines) - 1+ year(s) of direct sales experience (Turf Superintendent, Lawncare and/or Ornamental experience will be considered in lieu of direct sales experience) - Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial skills with proven results We Also Look For - 7+ years of agronomic industry experience (ex: Turf & Ornamentals and/or Pest Control and/or Agricultural Products and/or Lawn Care & Maintenance and/or Related Disciplines) - 5+ year(s) of direct sales experience (Turf Superintendent, Lawncare and/or Ornamental experience will be considered in lieu of direct sales experience) - Sales/Marketing experience in Turf & Ornamentals and/or Pest Management markets - Formal sales training courses - Demonstrated influencing abilities with high levels of performance - Account/Territory Management/Planning Experience.
