Designs the constructing of workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis Modeling techniques and methods Leadership Business-focused role responsibilities: Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders. Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders. Identifying the current- and future-state business processes. Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future. As new technologies and applications are developed and deployed, this position will research and vet out those that may be a benefit to any of our business needs. Once a decision has been made this position will work with the appropriate business unit leader, to prepare a business case for adopting the new technology/application Responsible for following technology trends related to the building construction and maintenance industry Able to represent trends to Executive Team Quarterly with preliminary business case recommendations and possible improvements Technology-focused role responsibilities: Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications. Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution. Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business or IT 3 years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst 3 years experience in Access, Excel Advanced), Visio, and MS Project 3 years of customer interfacing experience - project oversight, customer presentation. 3 years SQL Server 2005/2008 knowledge - T-SQL, Tables, Views Excellent communication skills written and verbal) Salesforce experience a plus 3 Years of Experience within the Construction Industry Systems, Inc.
