Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Currently has an exciting opportunity for a Trademark Paralegal to focus on trademark law. This is a full time opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of Intellectual Property experience. This position requires a college degree or paralegal diploma/certificate. Job Requirements Assist with preparing and filing trademark applications and responses to office actions Communicate with foreign associates regarding filings and registrations Conduct trademark infringement searches using the USPTO website Maintain trademark registrations before the USPTO Support the efforts of the firm s trademark attorneys to plan and implement international registration strategies Perform database searches for availability of marks and follow-up needed regarding same Work with the IP docketing team to ensure docket update Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must, as well as strong technical and database skills Experience with Anaqua and CPI a plus EOE Requirements Please see above.
