Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Credit Training program leverages the expertise and skills of our most senior investment professionals and uses actual deals to provide a relevant and practical foundation for new Investment Associates. Following training, new Associates join a deal team and are immediately responsible for: Business development/transaction origination: Generating new deal flow through direct calling efforts on CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers, and via intermediaries and private equity funds. New transaction analysis: Managing the credit review process, including financial modeling, creating and presenting written and oral analyses and coordinating internal approvals. Investment recommendation: Determining the appropriate credit quality, pricing decisions and investment amount for a particular company/transaction. Deal execution: Developing and negotiating the terms and structure of Prudential s investment and assisting with the documentation process. Portfolio management: Understanding the investments under management through active monitoring of company performance. Requirements & Skills: 3-10 years of credit related investment experience, or similar relevant work experience preferred Fluency in both English and Spanish required Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills Excellent analytical and accounting skills Familiarity with capital markets (knowledge of debt and equity security terms and valuation methodology) Knowledge of the Mexican banking system, economy, culture, and overall corporate universe Participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is a plus MBA a plus Dual Mexican and American citizenship a plus.
