Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Functions: Responsible for reporting on operating expense variances monthly for management package Quarterly variance reporting needed for MD&A and external auditors Responsible for forecasting monthly operating expenses and expense projects Responsible for budgeting for assets, operation costs and projects Responsible for managing monthly and quarterly operations accruals Assist field operations with cost tracking and reporting needs Prepare and manage JV or operating agreement billings Special projects, as needed Account reconciliations for external auditors Various quarterly reporting for FERC, Financial reporting, etc Strong communication skills a must Organized and self-motivated individual Educational requirements or experience equivalent: Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, construction management or business 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or business and some previous experience as a cost analyst. Software requirement: MS Office Suite, especially Excel; comfortable in financial software packages. Specific requirements for location/position: Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities and deadlines. Proficient organizational, oral and written communication skills required. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to apply judgment, and professionally challenge and question activity and assumptions. Some travel potentially required. 15% or less, rarely overnight.
