Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards. Summary: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Advanced and broad technical proficiency, with a thirst for knowledge, and a 'can do' attitude. Ability to manage rapidly shifting priorities and dependencies 5-8 years of hands-on technical experience in linux environments Ability and readiness to quickly learn new technologies. Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices. Take high-level design decisions from cloud architecture team and turn them into reality that solves customer issues Team player, excellent communication skills and able to successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technical audience Demonstrated ability to quickly understand business requirements, propose reference architectures, and possible technology solutions. Must be capable of presenting options and weigh implementation Automate installs of popular opensource DB offerings with Ansible, puppet, Terraform and Python running on cloud environments Core Requirements: Solid scripting skills (e.g., bash, perl, python, etc) Experience with automation software using Ansible , puppet, Terraform and Python Experience with monitoring systems (e.g. OP5, Nagios, etc) Experience building tools for automation (building, testing, releasing, monitoring and alarming) Experience with IaaS and PaaS providers such as AWS, OpenStack etc. Proficient in linux command Line, system Administration and good hands-on installing software on linux platforms Some Database experience, preferrably in nosql technologies like Cassandra/mongoDB and RDBMS like Oracle/mysql Some networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Firewalls, traffic shaping, and load balancing) Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment processes and tools such as Artifactory, Gerrit, Git, Jenkins, Maven and Nexus Nice to have ->Familiarity with latest UI Development Technologies Nice to have ->Familiarity with leading Web Development Frameworks Education Level Bachelors Degree Field of Study Information Sciences, Technology, Computer Science Years of Experience - Generally requires 5-8 years related experience is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer.
