Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The COS will lead the way on defining team objectives, management system and operating rhythm for the team. In order to be successful, the COS will need to be a big-picture strategic thinker, who is also able to work with close attention to the details. The COS needs to be data-savvy and analytical, and should be able to define the metrics and tracking that the team can use to ensure we are delivering on our commitments. The COS should be an excellent communicator, expected to ask the tough questions, to challenge the status quo, and who knows how to drive change. The COS will also need to play a horizontal role, building relationships across lines of businesses, multiple partner teams and stakeholder groups. The COS will be an important culture carrier for the organization, who models the right behaviors for the team and helps create a shared sense of purpose, leadership and accountability with and for the team. You'll be accountable for: Leading Strategic Business Priorities: Develop a strong management system with clear accountabilities. Establishes priorities, key results, and success criteria as well as a system to monitor progress, recognize successes and learn from failures. Enabling the efficient and effective management of the Card.AI team, including preparing for and managing: Weekly leadership meetings oRecurring meetings with associates and leaders throughout the year Managing the budget and partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and proper tracking. Create an overall strategy for expense management, monitor spending with vendors, and partnering with Enterprise vendor management organization. Being an extension of Youssef serving as a conduit to all areas of the business, keeping his/her finger on the pulse of the organization. Be a force multiplier by developing strong relationships with associates and leaders across Capital One. Partnering with Human Resources and People Leadership Accountable Executives to design and deliver a strong People Strategy. Focus on strengthening one Card.AI brand particularly as it relates to attracting top internal and external talent. Partner with leaders across the organization to identify synergies. What you'll bring to the table: Strong business judgment, influencing skills, leadership and integrity are essential for this position. Must possess a high EQ and be a collaborative team player Self-starter that can work autonomously and can take initiative; highly motivated Confident to champion unpopular ideas even with more senior leaders Ability to navigate white space or ambiguous situations Comfortable operating, in large part, behind the scenes; humble enough to give others credit Strong process orientation and knowledge of agile practices Strong facilitation, negotiation and mediation skills; ability to drive to consensus/ decisions Strong project management and organizational skills. Meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Discretion in handling highly sensitive issues Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree or military experience At this time.
