Job Responsibilities and Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and year-end close for Intermix and ensure that all transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts have been performed by the GAP CSSC team Assist with the transition of accounts payable process to the CSSC Lead and partner with FP&A to investigate any close versus forecast variances and help create efficiencies in the forecast process Assist with requests from the CSSC on accounting processes and reconciliations Understand process flows and controls and make recommendations for improvements Mentor, train and guide team Collaborate with INTERMIX and all Gap Inc. business partners QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 6 years of accounting experience with budget and forecast exposure CPA preferred Experience working in multi-brand retail experience Strong understanding of US GAAP Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis Strong technical aptitude, including ability and desire to learn company systems and tools Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with other groups, as necessary Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment Strong problem solving skills Passion, energy and enthusiasm to drive results with a team-oriented approach.
