Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Primary duties are as a trademark paralegal providing high level day to day support to trademark/IP attorneys on trademark enforcement matters, trademark portfolio management, domain names and social media. Responsibilities include reviewing and counseling business personnel concerning trademark aspects of marketing materials, presentation decks, websites and mobile apps Overseeing standardized trademark license and linking program and other related contracts and agreements Corresponding with business and business legal personnel concerning proper trademark use and compliance with trademark best practices, handling trademark assignments, legalization of documents, changes of name, Powers of Attorney and related document preparation, monitoring and responding to communications/correspondence from business personal and outside counsel on substantive trademark matters independently and under the supervision of an attorney to ensure timely and effective legal representation and minimal disruption to company business, creating and/or maintaining docket of assigned matters, and assisting with special projects and cross functional initiatives as needed . Will support all aspects of trademark, domain and social media enforcement matters, including, reviewing trademark and domain name watch notices, conducting investigations and research on possible infringements, drafting takedown notices, reporting on possible infringements and related docketing. Will also provide support to the ERISA law group on general corporate governance matters. Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience; some in-house corporate experience preferred Associate's Degree Knowledge of and experience with: IP Docketing or similar database; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Knowledge and experience with trademark searching and due diligence Knowledge of and experience with trademark prosecution Knowledge of and experience with trademark watching and trademark enforcement matters Significant experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders Strong organizational skills; ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Willing and able to follow through on complex issues Must be detail-oriented, proactive, effective at multi-tasking, and able to work well under pressure and to work independently as well as collaboratively.
