Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Under general supervision from a designated administrator, the selected candidate will develop and implement websites and components in the university's selected content management system, provide support for digital marketing and communications initiatives, including content and measurement. Job Description: Write web applications and develop components for use in the university's content management system Create templates and style sheets to be used in conjunction with the university's content management system and web environment Translate the university's web-related needs into technical solutions and develop detailed user experience design and work plans Work closely with the university's marketing and communications team to build and maintain websites and optimize content and user experience for performance Manage university's analytics and search platforms, including providing support and training for university wide users Work closely with university's technical support team to ensure accessibility, functionality and performance of university's digital platforms, specifically ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Perform related duties and special projects based on departmental need Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience, -OR- an Associate's degree with three (3) years' experience -OR- seven (7) years' experience. Degree must be in a related field Experience must be related to designing, developing, testing and maintaining websites Proficient in CSS, JavaScript, HTML Ideal Qualifications: Mastery of JavaScript, familiarity with Java Familiarity with principle of object Oriented programming and functional programming Knowledge of user experience design, information architecture principles Strong communication skills, including web writing Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software Required.
