Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This includes working with project team to control costs, updating leadership at critical project milestones and maintaining current portfolio forecast Drive cross-functional team to achieve cost targets on individual projects while keeping ahead of aggressive project timelines Track project-level spend throughout the year. Hold project team accountable to Pro Forma targets Document, review and maintain projects throughout capital planning and approval process in Oracle Project Management Evaluate current tools and databases to drive efficiencies and value-added enhancements Manage outsourced estimators in developing store construction estimates that provide detailed documentation of line item construction costs, while supporting real estate decisions Support key strategic & departmental initiatives and analysis Provide support and strategic insights to the conceptual and technical design teams Engage with project teams and construction subject matter experts to better understand remodel and construction scopes and processes. Travel to key store locations, as needed Work across all brands to help rollout best practices across Gap Inc. brands for post project go back work, cost controls and new concept initiatives Qualifications: BA / BS with solid work experience within architecture and/or construction field 3-5 years experience in retail design rollouts Critical thinker. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Must have great attention to detail and work well under pressure Able to work independently and deliver results on time Must be comfortable with presenting to senior management and working in cross-functional teams Ability to influence business partners across the organization at multiple levels Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and be able to prioritize in a fast paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with business partners Enthusiastic and pro-active team player Must have advanced Excel and Oracle experience. CAD, WinEst, and Modelogix a plus.
