Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The analysts on the team perform sector wide and company specific analysis to determine the appropriate trading levels of various debt related instruments (loans, bonds, derivatives, ect). Overall Purpose of the Role Analyze a variety of credit products, determining their overall risk and appropriate trading levels. Develop research reports for external distribution and engage in direct communication with key clients within the marketplace. Have a high level of connectivity with internal business partners throughout the Markets and Banking franchise. Partner with the broader research franchise to develop thematic and trade idea focused reports to win mind share. Key Accountabilities Knowledge of the US HY and Leveraged Loan market Ability to perform financial analysis and understand corporate structures, leading to recommendations Strong writing skills, and desire to publish a consistent pipeline of research Excellent communication skills with both internal business partners and external clients Core knowledge of some combination of HY Auto, Auto Parts, Aerospace & Defense, Gaming, Home Builders, and/or Building product sectors. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree 8 years experience in related field Ability to develop financial models, with forward looking estimates Strong writing skills Account background - comfortable with financial statements Advanced communication skills - will deal with senior decision makers at clients and internal trading desk Ability to hold meetings with company management teams Director, DM Credit Research.
