Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In this role you will assist in the organization and coordination of overhead and underground utility construction projects. You will also manage the work quality and project deliverables throughout a project. The Construction Coordinator will report directly to the Construction Manager. Responsibilities Keep accurate, detailed and up to date As Built drawings as work is completed; Manage project deliverables to include photo verification of construction process, engineer s sign offs, field change requests and production validations; Work closely with tracking team to provide real time productivity data for accurate tracking of all work; Responsible to complete all work in a timely manner and prior to assigned deadlines under minimal direct supervision; Must complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; Analyzes program requirements in the areas of scheduling and milestone tracking; Utilizes project tracking methodologies to ensure program success and efficiency; Performs critical path analyses and shares findings with internal coordinates and leadership; Performs impact studies and modeling to insure field operations are equipped with adequate resources to manage the program into the future; Prepares presentations depicting the status of the program for higher management and for meetings with the customer; Develop and maintain customer relations and business partnerships with client and vendor base; Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all key projects, including significant milestones, project financial indicators, and conditions/risks which could negatively impact project cost, scope, and/or schedule; Promotes project management excellence; Provide weekly project status report to management and project team members; Ensure adherence to all company, client and project policies, procedures and standards; Interface with client to resolve any issues/concerns that could affect the success of the program; Insure work is being done in compliance with company and industry safety standards. Experience Valid state driver s license with clean driving record; Able to be trained in telecommunications OSP design and engineering practices; Intermediate to advanced computer skills; Unwavering ethical standard; Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities; Demonstrated skills in oral and written communications; Strong people skills; High commitment to achieving goals and plans; Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Access and PowerPoint; Advanced in Excel; Ability to work in a team environment. Preferences Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, or a related major; 1-2 years experience as a Coordinator or Project Assistant working in the field or familiarity with telecom, construction, utility or civil project work.
