Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities/Experience Required: Support attorneys in all aspects of global trademark counseling and prosecution Run search and clearance reports both in-house and through our search vendor and help prepare initial reporting to clients Research ID manual and prepare classes and lists of goods and services Gather filing particulars and prepare and file trademark applications and related filings via USPTO and WIPO Engage with foreign associated counsel Weekly meeting with attorneys and docketing We are a paperless firm, but you will keep an electronic file on all matters and you will be responsible for opening new TM matters Additional Experience Helpful: Promotions and advertising experience, including sweepstakes and contests Enforcement work including social media takedowns, ordering TM use investigations, TTAB actions, UDRP domain name dispute proceedings, etc. Prepare and file, docket and manage U.S. copyright filings Litigation support experience Experience with WebTMS a plus Requirements The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years prior experience filing, running and managing a global docket. This role requires a high level of attention detail, strong client services orientation, excellent follow up and communication skills. The best candidate likely has training received at a large law firm and is smart, highly organized, efficient, thinks creatively, has a positive work attitude, and is comfortable following directions as well as working independently.
