Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties Include: Owners Representative for leading the field monitoring of the Contractor s construction activities for compliance with plans, specs and permits Problem solving the project challenges Attending meetings, recording meeting minutes, and assisting in project coordination with all stakeholders Preparing monthly reports Reviewing work product prepared by office engineers, inspection staff, DBE compliance personnel and community outreach liaisons Maintaining excellent relationships with client staff Coordinating with Design Engineers Implementing Quality and Safety plans Reviewing and commenting on schedule updates Reviewing estimates of work Verifying quantities and processing payments Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Current Professional Engineering license (P.E.) 10 years of Project Management / Resident Engineering experience in heavy civil, transit, and transportation projects that includes highway and roadway experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven leadership abilities DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a Resident Engineer on heavy civil and transportation and infrastructure projects in Washington area Previous experience on Sound Transit projects preferred.
