Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Overall coordination (both internal & external) between the P&E group, clients and various departments; in conjunction with proposal preparation in order to submit professional, accurate, responsive, and timely proposals, consistent with McDermott Management s requirements/bidding philosophy. Qualifications Bachelors degree, or equivalent, relevant experience 5 years Marine Construction experience preferred Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Experience with typical proposal upload sites (Ariba, FTP s, etc) preferred Graphics experience preferred Responsibilities Responsible for the overall coordination, development and submittal of MDRs technical and commercial proposals and departmental organization (in concert with the respective operating unit P&E group & Senior Management). Administrative management of the P&E related directories and Sharepoint sites including overall upkeep of current and historical information typically required for proposal preparation. Read and understand submission requirement in the Instruction to Tenders (ITT) Prepare list of Client requirements for the Technical and Commercial Proposals Index the submission documents as per ITT requirements Prepare templates for functional inputs for the submission purpose Receive the functional inputs and format to suite the submission templates / requirements Follow up for the inputs from functional disciplines and make sure the inputs are as per ITT requirement Assemble proposal packages (electronic and/or physical) for submission Participate in bid kick off / progress meetings as required Maintain Resumes of Key Employees in the data base Management of Client supply chain bidding sites for exchange of information Maintenance and distribution of clarification logs for proposals Maintain the P&E historical archiving electronically for future references Additionally: Must be deadline driven Ability to work independently Must be a team player Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple tasks / bids at a time Travel Up to 10% Job Status Contractor - Temporary Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Finance, Business, etc. Experience: 5 years Marine Construction experience preferred Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Experience with typical proposal upload sites (Ariba, FTP s, etc) preferred Graphics experience preferred Must be deadline driven Ability to work independently Qualifications: Ability to develop strong working relationships with key contributors. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, MS Schedule). Creative design and writing abilities. Understands the proposals process in general.
