Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position is part of the SOX/FDICIA Compliance team within the Controllership Function of CIT, a Fortune 500 company. The position will be responsible for the following: Managing and running multiple projects at once Assit in overall engagement planning, testing and reporting Perform walkthroughs to validate controls Develop test procedures, perform control testing and document test results Updating relevant policies, procedures and processes Identify opportunities for process improvements / efficiencies and partner with management in the implementation of solutions Reporting results to management Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 7-10 years of Experience Understanding of GAAP and internal controls Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to communicate with all levels of management Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks i.e., excellent project managment skills Ability to travel 25% Recommended Skills and Experience CPA or CIA or other professional certification Banking or Financial Services Experience.
