Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position focuses on negotiating, drafting and analyzing a wide variety of global agreements, such as licensing, sales, channel partner and business development agreements.These agreements help grow its leadership position in APIbased platforms. The successful candidate will have experience with international commercial contracts and technology. He or she will also have experience with corporate transactions and reporting and other legal experience relevant for a tech company. lawyers are diligent and proactive and have excellent business judgment and strategic thinking. They work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fastpaced team environment. Responsibilities will include: Review, analyze, draft and negotiate license, sales, channel partner, business development and other agreements. Advise various functions within Apigee, eliciting and establishing relevant facts and ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed and on task. Intelligent,succinct, thoughtful engagement with senior company, customer and partner management. Additional responsibilities may include: Assist with public company reporting and related matters and for strategic transactions. Advise business clients on the legal issues and risks, complex deal structures, approval processes, company policies and procedures, IP, negotiation strategy and other related licensing transaction issues. Advise the business on contract and privacy compliance related to product, business operations and professional services. Advise the business on protecting its intellectual property. The successful candidate will hold a JD degree from a wellregarded law school and be a member in good standing of a bar association of one of the 50 states the District of Columbia. 58 years of experience in software transactions, commercial contracts and intellectual property experience advising clients in structuring complex commercial transactions agreements and responding to complex customer agreements Strong negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills Exceptional legal capabilities and judgment; outstanding skills in being aware of and analyzing relevant laws as applied to business operations and/or specific situations Experience advising an international business Experience with corporate matters and/or mergers & acquisitions a plus Experience with commercial or IP litigation a plus Trained in law firm environment with some inhouse experience is a plus Experience with a high growth, technologydriven company is helpful Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines; ability to monitor implementation of legal advice Technology and Intellectual Propertyoriented Knowledge of privacy and data security issues a plus.
