Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Regional Marketing Director is responsible for driving strategy and monitoring marketing activities and tactics for the offices of the assigned region(s). This position is also charged with building a marketing presence in line with firm, regional and office business strategies. Qualifications Education: - Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field required - Advanced degree preferred Experience: - Ten (10) or more years marketing-related experience required - Prior experience working in the accounting, financial consulting, business advisory, banking industries, and/or professional services preferred - Prior experience working at one of the Big Four or a national / regional accounting firm highly desired - Prior experience managing marketing professionals preferred Software: - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - CRM experience preferred Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Advanced knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and marketing processes including marketing and BD planning, event planning, account planning management, marketing strategy and development - Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, marshal resources and manage change in a matrix environment - Capable of leading and managing remote and local teams of people to accomplish desired results - Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate BDO's business, marketplace and value proposition - Knowledge of contact management software including updating, maintenance and list generation - Excellent project management skills - Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as the ability to present and facilitate - Capacity to travel to the offices within the region on a periodic basis to meet with marketing personnel, participate in events, and attend regional and national meetings, as necessary.
