Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position must strive to support 's Facilities and Construction Department's mission to serve the health needs of individuals, families and communities through a holistic philosophy rooted in our fundamental understanding of human beings as created in the image of God. Additionally, facilities are operated and maintained with the objectives of being 1) patient focused, 2) efficient, 3) safe, 4) sustainable and 5) cost effective Accountabilities: Performance of quality work that meets the standards designated by the Manager of Interiors. Demonstrate knowledge of how to apply finishes to surfaces using professional techniques and methods Painter is responsible for following hospital procedures, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring an efficient use of time. Maintain a working knowledge of the latest decorating techniques and materials and completes assignments as scheduled by Manger of Interiors/Lead Painter as applicable What You Will Need: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years' experience at Journeyman level in the decorating trade. Knowledge of paints, varnishes, stains and equipment Painting Experience Basic computer skills Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time, as related essential job functions. Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds. Ability to work safely with the hazardous materials common to the decorating trade. Ability to flex work schedule. Ability to travel as needed. Ability to perform heavy lifting (lifting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds occasionally.).
