Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Duties Include: Reviewing contact drawings, specifications, and addendums Inspecting work performed by contractors for compliance with contract documents and all applicable codes and reference standards Monitoring contractors' project schedules and alerting Project Officers of delays Facilitating and cooperating with the agent to facilitate the commissioning process Monitoring all code-required testing e.g. Special Inspections required by applicable codes and reporting any issues to Project Officers Overseeing and expediting the submittal process Conducting safety inspections and notifying the Project Officer of any potential dangers Helping the Project Officers to investigate recordable incidents Attending pre-start-up testing, functional testing, and integration testing for all equipment and systems as directed by Project Officers Verifying compliance of items on detailed inspection lists and assisting Project Officers to perform Final Inspection Job Requirements Qualifications Required: Associate of Science Degree in a relevant field (Bachelor of Science degree preferred) Minimum of 7 years of construction experience involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects. This must include a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale multi-contract building projects. OSHA 10 card Building Construction experience Ability to immediately work in the United States is required. Local candidates only.
