Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Include: Open all physical mail, stamp, scan and upload to Firm s document management system Maintain accurate naming conventions and document types for records within the Firm s document repository Upload all faxes and PCT cited references Maintain distribution logs Monitor outbound transfers - Order e-docs, review, prepare outbound docket reports, coordinate with records, gather authorizations and checklists, mark as transferred in Firm s docketing system Expedite scan, upload and distribution of any re-examination documents Perform other related duties as assigned Desired Skills and Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Experience with patent files desirable; Experience with document scanning equipment desirable; Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure; and Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. on a routine basis. Reporting to the Senior Patent Practice Support Manager, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good computer and data entry skills and the ability to type 40 wpm. Prior law firm records or docketing experience desired.
