Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Duties Builds card related email campaign briefs, database selection, manages the agency campaign service team as they build email, HTML presentation and quality assurance of all outbound card and loyalty campaigns. Performs day-to-day email marketing activities to support the card program including, but not limited to, email campaign brief set-up, scheduling, testing, and gathering requirements for recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns. Troubleshoots issues related to templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required along with the campaign services team and email coordinator Conducts end to end quality assurance testing in Email campaigns and customer journey. Ensures all requirements and functionality in card related email campaigns are met across varies devices including mobile. Works with defined checklist and process to test content, links, external tracking, alt tags, and rendering accuracy. Stays abreast of and recommends email marketing best practices with coding, design and testing of email campaigns. Focuses on credit card acquisition, usage and retention programs with secondary focus on loyalty acquisition campaigns. Provides adhoc reporting and analysis on campaign performance. Ensures strategic recommendations are implemented. Configures A/B test scenarios to push programs forward Job-Specific Skills & Education Required A minimum of 3 years of email marketing experience. Understanding of Responsys Interact (RI) and industry-specific software applications. Ability to define segments and new audience types. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of email KPIs and experience using insight tools such as RI Insights, Tableau, and Omniture. Ability to understand key campaign parameters - audience, program frequency, and creative approach. Good understanding of database concepts and segmentation. Ability and desire to learn quickly. Capability to engage with stakeholders and understand the big picture. Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team. Detailed oriented and highly organized. Proactive, energetic personality; inquiring, investigative mind High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum age of 18. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus in a related discipline. Experience with email tools (ReturnPath, Cheetahmail, Oracle Marketing Could, etc.) highly desired A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in email campaign building and list selection preferred Experience with email tools (ReturnPath, Cheetahmail, Oracle Marketing Could, etc.) highly desired Knowledge of key email marketing fundamentals, including can spam compliance, deliverability, spam complaint rates, A/B split testing, etc. Understanding of HTML coding/email assets and the ability to troubleshoot with last-minute changes. Familiarity with digital marketing industry best practices (e.g., inbound/outbound marketing, demand generation, etc.). Ability to formulate test plans and report on findings.
