Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities Manages the capital budgets for assigned projects. Must ensure effective cost tracking and control measures are in place. Ensures that all assigned projects are monitored for on time completion and in accordance with RL quality standards. Responsible for interior renovation construction work at RL corporate office locations in NYC/NJ. Manages the capital budgets for assigned projects. Must ensure effective cost tracking and control measures are in place. Ensures that all assigned projects are monitored for on time completion and in accordance with RL quality standards. Requirements Good communication skills, both oral and written. Possess a working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC trades, sufficient to be able to effectively estimate new and refurbishment work requiring those trades. Possess a working knowledge of building code requirements sufficient to be able to work with architects and engineers to ensure their submissions are accurate and complete. Must ensure that RL work meets all applicable code requirements. Possess sufficient financial skills to be able to effectively create and manage accurate capital project budgets. Possess the project management/organizational skills necessary to ensure that simultaneous, large, corporate interior renovation /showroom construction projects are completed on schedule and on budget. Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or engineering technology, plus at least four years experience in the construction management field OR no degree with ten or more years experience in the construction management field.
