Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Business Analytics Manager is responsible for managing the financial analysis, budgeting and analytical function for Champion/NAP operations; providing analysis and support to senior management with a primary focus on projections and forecasting, financial metrics and communications to clearly explain financial details, projections, and performance results for Champion and NAP activities. This position will assess the financial impact of key business decisions and on-going operational performance against plan; develop a variety of analytical controls, systems and processes, to provide insight into operational opportunities and challenges aimed at improving the financial performance of the retail organization. This position will also reconcile, analyze and review income statements in preparation for month end close, specifically as it pertains to gross margin calculations and is responsible for maintaining favorable relationships with other financial functions within the organization, including coordinates with accounting, supply teams, Calpine FP&A and other internal departments in order to present accurate and consistent messages to management. May be asked to research economic and industry trends and provides market research and analytical support for executive management. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Finance Management or related discipline with in-depth knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting and modeling. Requires minimum of 3 to 5 years in area of specialization. Must be adept in utilizing analytical programs, such as Hyperion, PeopleSoft and other reporting tools.
