Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Provide effective design, coordination, installation/configuration, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Compute Infrastructure, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Storage Area Network (SAN) hardware/software and related enterprise backup and recovery infrastructure. Design of enterprise storage systems to include high-availability, redundancy, and supporting the organization disaster recovery and business continuity requirements. Provides technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the hardware and storage infrastructure. This individual works closely with peers and the Solutions Architect to ensure that the compute infrastructure, storage hardware, operating systems, monitoring systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational requirements and SOPs. Provide technical leadership and support for business clients in highly complex data center environments. Responsible for determining enterprise standard for the compute and storage solutions. Develop and present technical design for data center solutions based on requirements from clients focused on storage and compute. This person will work closely with the project team to ensure a smooth implementation of the design. Provide 4 th level technical support to the IT Operations Center 7x24 on call for Mission Critical Application. Drive and Instill industry best practices for compute and storage. When necessary may also adjust work hours to perform tasks at times least impactful to customers. Developing solutions that are cost conscious, while being technically sound and supporting business requirements. Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations. External Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Information or equivalent experience in the appropriate fields is required. 8 years of compute and storage experience in one or more the following disciplines is required.
